The ACP classifier represents the latest development of ALPINE classifiers, and combines the achievements of the well know high technology based on the energy efficient solid body rotation principle. The ALPINE ACP sets a new benchmark in the powder technology in terms of energy efficiency, cut points and maintenance.

Principle of operation

The feed material is offered from bottom pneumatically together with the primary central air flow. This airstream disperses the material and directs it to the classifier wheel on top of the classifier. With a high wheel speed, only fine particles can enter the classifier wheel. Coarse particles are rejected and leave the classifier through the bottom discharge.
