Dishwashing powder

Increase washing performance for more customer satisfaction

The production of dishwashing detergent powder poses a major challenge for comminution technology. Due to the humidity in the air, undesirable agglomerates often form during the production process. As a result, the dishes do not get as clean as customers would like. Customers are dissatisfied with their dishwashing detergent and turn to another product.

Numerous tests have shown that surface reduction reduces powder agglomeration. For the production of detergent powder, this means that the granules must have a narrow particle size distribution. Customers achieve this result with equipment that enables additive-free compacting and gentle granulation.

Production of dishwashing powder

Best results due to low surface areas and narrow particle size distribution

In order to achieve an optimum particle size distribution, the product must pass through three different process stages: Compacting, granulation, and subsequent classification. Compactors and flake crushers are used here, which enable additive-free compacting and gentle granulation.

In the first process stage, the raw powder is compressed to the desired density by press agglomeration. In the second process stage, granulation takes place, in which the pellets are gently crushed.

Following compaction and granulation, the dishwashing powder granules are separated into the desired particle classes – a process called classification. This is how you finally obtain a dishwashing powder with a high washing efficiency.

  • Dust-free, easy-flowing granules
  • No binders necessary
  • Easy to operate and clean
  • High degree of automation
  • Efficient explosion protection concepts
  • Lower investment costs
