Hosokawa Alpine is training apprentices in seven different professions this year. The new apprentices include five industrial mechanics, one construction mechanic, two mechatronics engineers, three cutting machine operators, two warehouse logistics specialists, one industrial clerk and two technical product designers. Two trainees are starting on the dual courses of study in mechanical engineering and business informatics. New this year are students with in-depth practical training in mechanical engineering, mechatronics and environmental and process engineering.
The long-established Augsburg-based company and expert in powder and particle processing technologies and blown film extrusion employs a total of 59 trainees, 19 of them in dual study programs.
Mr. Thomas Reichenzeller, Operations Director Human Resources at Hosokawa Alpine, and CEO Dr. Antonio Fernández welcome the 20 apprentices. "We offer young people many opportunities to enter a global industrial company. In addition, we are proud of our high takeover rate. Especially in these times, we are aware of our responsibility to train in the region. One of our answers to the shortage of skilled workers is a consistent, qualified training policy," emphasizes Fernández.
This year, the company is once again ensuring a smooth start with its "introduction days". During the first weeks, the trainees receive all important information about the company, its products and the training process.
At the Augsburg location, junior staff are offered a wide range of attractive development opportunities. Hosokawa Alpine presents a wide range of training opportunities in both the industrial and commercial sectors. The dual courses of study are also becoming increasingly popular. Regardless of the training path taken, Hosokawa Alpine attaches great importance to the internal professional development of apprentices and complements the vocational school apprenticeship with a wide range of additional company-internal offers via the Alpine Campus.
Hosokawa Alpine is already looking for apprentices and dual students for the coming training year 2024. Interested parties can apply on Hosokawa Alpine's careers page.
