Company Integration: Joint Successes after Taking Over the Solids Solutions Group

With the acquisition of the Solids Solutions Group in January 2020, Hosokawa Alpine was able to systematically pursue its long-term expansion target and draws a positive balance within the framework of the ongoing company integration. "As a result of the take-over, we have been able to expand our core business in the field of powder processing to include a comprehensive portfolio on the bulk materials handling sector", says Dr Antonio Fernández, Chairman of the Executive Board at Hosokawa Alpine AG.

Pooled competence is a success factor

Together with the newly acquired Solids Solutions Group, Hosokawa Alpine extends its operative business and now approaches existing customers in a targeted manner with the combined know-how and the strength of a well-established system provider. "Our position as a provider of solutions has already been substantially boosted. This is evidenced by the many joint customer projects in a very short time period", says Fernández. As a next step, the companies intend to focus on creating long-term synergies.

With a current total of three locations in Spain and Germany, the Solids Solutions Group is an internationally active corporate group in the field of bulk solids handling with 50 years of experience. The company has meanwhile established itself as a new competence centre within the Hosokawa Alpine AG active on the sector of bulk solids handling under the name "Hosokawa Solids Solutions GmbH".
